Big Al and Shrimpy by Andrew Clements; illustrated by Yoshi

Big Al is a very large fish and Shrimpy is a very, very small fish. The two become fast friends. When they venture to the Big Deep, they play by throwing rocks down and listening as they tumble down to the bottom.
